After a short break, the Winnipeg Jets now have a date in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Nashville Predators defeated the Avalanche 4 games to 2 to secure a meeting with the Jets. The Jets were They were 1-3-1 against the Predators in the regular season.
The Predators have the best record in the NHL and have secured home ice throughout the playoffs. The first 2 games will be played in Nashville followed by game 3 and 4 in Winnipeg.
The start of round 2 will depend on how long round 1 drags out. The last round 1 games, if necessary, will be played on Wednesday, April 25.
