Delta 9 has announced that one of its first retail stores in Winnipeg will be a ‘cannabis superstore’ in St. Vital.
The 3,200 square feet store will be locate at 827 Dakota Street and will open on October 17, 2018 (the first day of cannabis legalization in Canada).
The St. Vital outlet will be the largest of the planned Delta 9 stores and will include a cannabis education centre. Think of it as Walmart’s ‘supercenter’ version of its stores.
All Delta 9 stores will stock its in-house product as well as product from partner brands. Delta 9 has a partnership with Canopy Growth to sell its Tweed brand in its stores. Delta 9’s products will also be available at Canopy Growth locations in the province.
A second store will open in the downtown shopping area of Thompson, Manitoba.
They are currently awaiting approval for two more outlets in Manitoba. One of those outlets will be located in Osborne Village and the other will be in downtown Brandon.
