Insurance fraud is never a good thing because in the end, the money comes out all insurance payers pockets.
Fraudulent and suspicious claims are handled by Manitoba Public Insurance’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU). As of the end of this November, claims savings are more than $10 million with the SIU closing 1,600 investigations.
