Academy Award-winning actor, Sean Penn, will be directing a movie in Winnipeg this summer. The movie will be based on the novel ‘Flim Flam Man’ (not to be mistaken with Flin Flon Manitoba) by Jennifer Vogel, a true-story book about her father.
Storyline: A father lives a double life as a counterfeiter, bank robber and con man in order to provide for his daughter. Based on a true story by Jennifer Vogel (Flim Flam Man)
Casting will be handled by Winnipeg’s Buffalo Gal Pictures. They are looking for two child actors:
- (Principal) Young Nick
Caucasian male age 6 – 9 - (Principal) Tween Nick
Caucasian male age 9 – 12
