Another very popular U.S. chain is opening in Winnipeg!
According to documents filed with the City of Winnipeg, a brand new new 6,248 sqft restaurant in the Polo Park area will house Winnipeg’s first P.F. Chang’s Chinese Bistro. It’s being build on the parking lot of the former Polo Park Target location and will be located just across the 24-7 Intouch building.
It’s part of the influx of U.S. restaurant chains invading Winnipeg such as Famous Dave’s, Five Guys, IHOP, and Popeyes Chicken.
P.F. Changs was founded in 1993 by Paul Fleming and Philip Chiang. The name “P. F. Chang’s” was created by combining the name of both founders: Paul Fleming (P. F.) and Philip Chiang (whose last name was simplified to Chang).
The menu includes items such as: Chang’s Lettuce Wraps, Dynamite Shrimp, Cecilia’s Pork Dumplings, Hand-Folded Crab Wontons, Fried Rice, Long Life Noodles, Kung Pao Dragon Roll, California Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Chang’s Spicy Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and much much more.
