Winnipeg Transit
On Monday, July 1, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.
Special Canada Day service includes:
- FREE Canada Day Shuttle will operate between The Forks and Osborne Village from noon until 12 a.m.
- Extra service on Portage Avenue buses will be operating between The Forks and Assiniboine Park from 10 a.m. until 6Â p.m. Regular transit fares apply.
On Monday, July 1, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a modified weekday schedule.
Swimming Pools
All City of Winnipeg indoor swimming pools will be closed on Monday, July 1.
Weather permitting, all City of Winnipeg outdoor pools will be open Monday, July 1. Operating hours vary by pool.
Weather permitting; the following 8 wading pools will be open on Monday, July 1:

The remaining locations will open Monday, July 1, according to their operating schedules. Operating hours vary by wading pool; however, most are open from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Library Services
All Winnipeg Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, July 1.
Cemeteries
Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital, and Transcona Cemeteries will be open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. during the Canada Day long weekend, including July 1.
