Earl of Sandwich will be opening its first Winnipeg restaurant at the Seasons of Tuxedo strip.
The restaurant name is based on Earl of Sandwich, a noble title in the Peerage of England, held since its creation by the House of Montagu.
The Orlando, Florida based franchise was founded by John Montagu (The 11th Earl of Sandwich), his younger son Orlando Montagu, and businessman Robert Earl, founder of Planet Hollywood.
The restaurant will be located outside of the Outlet Collection mall, similar to the Popeyes Chicken location.
