Operation Red Nose got more than 1,300 Winnipeggers home safely this holiday season.
From November 29 – December 31, 2019, teams of 3 Red Nose volunteers picked up drivers in their own vehicle and dropped them off to their destination safely.
Winnipeg was the most active community in Manitoba. 1,389 rides were given by 664 volunteers which raised $33,342.85 for local charities in the province.
Portage La Prairie was second, with 730 rides from 364 volunteers raising $16,702.25.
In total, 4,443 rides from 2,370 volunteers in Manitoba raised over $95,000.
