A popular clothing store is returning to CF Polo Park!
Aeropostale first opened at Polo Park Shopping Centre in October 2012. They also had locations at St. Vital Shopping Centre and Kildonan Place.
However, in May 2016, they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and closed all 41 stores in Canada.
The company was able to exit bankruptcy in September 2016 after a $243 million group bid from licensing firm Authentic Brands Group, mall operators Simon Property Group and General Growth Properties, and capital-investment firms Gordon Brothers and Hilco Merchant Resources.
It’s now hoping to return to the Canadian market stronger than ever. The store at CF Polo Park is slated to open on February 27, 2020.
