A new Indian Restaurant has opened in north-west Winnipeg!
My Indigo focuses on delivering authentic Indian Street Food to Winnipeg and is located at the Waterford Green Commons shopping centre at 55 Waterford Green Commons.
They have various street-food style items such as Indian-styled crepe called Dosa, Indian Wraps and a lot more. Most of their items are fat free and oil free. And of course… they have Butter Chicken and Naan!
We had a chance to try the Noodle Dosa and it’s absolutely delicious! A dosa is a cooked flat thin layered rice batter, made from a fermented batter. It is very close to the consistency and look of a crépe. It is usually filled with different fillings that you can enjoy with a coconut chutney and a special sauce!
