School Zone speed limits, which were suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak, will resume on Monday, June 1, 2020.
Now that school operations have resumed at a limited capacity, and playgrounds are open, officers will resume enforcing the 30 km/h limit. Photo enforcement contractors will also be setting up at school zones.
Speed limits at school zones are reduced to 30 km/h between September 1 to June 30 inclusive, between the hours of 07:00 and 17:30, Monday to Friday.
