Uber has received its rideshare licence from the city and they expect to launch in Winnipeg within weeks.
They are now looking for potential drivers. Uber will be offering a one-time bonus of $500 to the first 100 drivers who complete 20 trips once the service launches in Winnipeg.
Uber will compete against TappCar, ReRyde, MY CAB app, and Hire PTP in Winnipeg.
