Walmart customers in Canada will finally be able to use contactless payments.
The much sought-after feature is currently rolling out to all stores across Canada. All locations are expect to have ‘tap’ by the end of the month.
‘Tap’ will be a welcomed feature, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Researchers say that chip and pin machines have the same amount of bacteria as public toilets. Being able to tap should reduce the amount of contact you have with the pinpad.
