TRAILER: Zack Snyder’s Justice League

The 4-hour director cut will hit HBO Max on March 18, 2021.

Warner Bros, along side HBO Max, has released the trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

To be clear, this is not a new movie… but more of a remake/re-cut of the original 2017 Justice League movie the way Zack Snyder wanted it to be seen.

In May 2017, Snyder stepped down during post-production following the death of his daughter, and Joss Whedon took over, completing the film as an uncredited director. Whedon oversaw reshoots and other changes that incorporated a brighter tone and more humor, and cut the runtime down significantly in accordance with a mandate from Warner Bros. In Snyder’s cut, the main story will follow the same path as 2017’s Justice League, but contains over 2 hours of additional footage and story arcs.

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.
