In response to extreme heat, the City of Winnipeg is set to begin opening spray pads on June 3, 2021.
The spray pads will be closely monitored by Community Service Ambassadors and all public health orders regarding gatherings and physical distancing will be in effect.
Users are expected to limit their usage at a maximum of 30 minutes at a time.
20 of the 23 stand-alone spray pads will open on June 3. The spray pads at Michaëlle Jean Park (Norquay Community Centre) and Old Ex will not be opening at this time.
