The City of Winnipeg’s annual bike auction will once again be an online-only auction instead of in-person.
Have you ever wondered what happens to the hundreds of stolen and lost bicycles that the Winnipeg Police recovers ever year? They’re auctioned off at the annual Winnipeg Bicycle Auction.
Online bidding for bikes will take place from April 27 to May 4, 2022. If you win the auction, you will pick up your bike in person at 7130 Roblin Blvd. on May 6 or from May 9 – 13.
All bikes at auction will be pre-registered in the city’s bike registry. The registration fee of $7.14 will be added to the purchase price of the bike (children’s bikes not included).
Payment can be made by Cash, debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) (no cheques).
Bikes are sold as is with no warranty or refunds. Up to 200 bicycles will be tuned and ready to ride courtesy of W.R.E.N.C.H. volunteers & mechanics
