The Body Shop Canada has announced that it will close 33 stores and also close its online shop. The closure is to seek creditor protection. The company currently owes more than $3.3 million to unsecured creditors and about $16,400 to secured creditors.
Ontario will see the most store closures with 14 stores. Only 1 store in Manitoba will close. The great news for Winnipeggers is that the 4 locations in Winnipeg will remain open.
