Manitobans are encouraged to venture outside this weekend as the province will be offering free provincial park access and free family fishing from June 7 – 9, 2024.
Vehicle permits are not required to visit provincial parks from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. However, regular fees still apply for provincial campgrounds.
From June 7 – 9, anglers can fish without a licence provincewide, except in national parks where a federal fishing licence is still required.
Anglers participating in the free family fishing weekend are allowed to keep a conservation licence limit of fish.
