Lynyrd Skynyrd has announced a 10-appearance tour of Canada that begins on September 10 at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, with a performance at Winnipeg’s Canada Life Centre on September 13, 2025.
More than fifty years after the release of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s iconic debut album Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd, the band still resonates powerfully with a multi-generational fan base, just as they did when they first emerged from Jacksonville, Florida in 1973. Few bands have had as lasting an impact on creating a lifestyle as Skynyrd has.
The band continues to honor its legacy by celebrating the contributions of all who have shaped the lives of their millions of fans worldwide. Legendary members such as Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Steve Gaines, Ed King, Billy Powell, Bob Burns, and Leon Wilkeson—along with many others—remain integral to the band’s indelible history.
