The province has announced that entry to all Manitoba provincial parks will be FREE throughout 2025.
The move follows an announcement that it will be ending a contract with an American company that handles the processing of licences and permits, such as fishing licenses and park passes. The American company collects a $4.50 administration fee per transaction.
While the province searches for a Canadian alternative, entry to provincial parks will be FREE. A park pass will not be required to enter any Manitoba provincial parks but camping fees will still apply.
Manitobans are encouraged to take advantage of all the activities available in the great outdoors at provincial parks.
