The Manitoba Government has announced that it will increase minimum wage to $16.00/hr effective October 1, 2025.


Updated annually, Manitoba’s minimum wage is regulated through the Employment Standards Code. This year’s increase of 20 cents per hour will raise the minimum wage from $15.80 to $16.00. This adjustment reflects Manitoba’s 2024 inflation rate of 1.1 per cent, rounded up to the nearest five cents.
