Two of the most influential voices in R&B and pop are joining forces for a massive co-headlining event. GRAMMY award-winning hitmaker NE-YO and multi-platinum icon AKON have officially announced their “Nights Like This” 2026 Global Tour, and Winnipeg is on the map. The tour stops at the Canada Life Centre on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
Unlike traditional tours where artists perform separate sets, NE-YO and AKON will share the stage in a unique, back-and-forth format.
From the smooth R&B vibes of NE-YO’s “So Sick” and “Miss Independent” to the high-energy club energy of AKON’s “Smack That” and “Right Now (Na Na Na),” every moment is designed to feel like the ultimate throwback party.

Here is a look back at the last time they were in town:
- NE-YO: Most recently brought his smooth vocals to the RBC Convention Centre on February 17, 2024.
- AKON: It has been nearly two decades since AKON’s last major headlining appearance in the city. His last big stop was at the MTS Centre on July 15, 2008, during his tour with Sean Paul and Wyclef Jean.
