Robert “The Chief” Parish, one of the 50 greatest NBA players in history, will be signing autographs at Foot Locker Polo Park on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.
Parish was drafted in the first round of the 1976 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. In 1996, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. He would eventually be elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
Parish won three NBA titles (1981, 1984 and 1986) on the Boston Celtics. He was part of the “big three” which included Larry Bird and Kevin McHale.
He played his final season with the Chicago Bulls in 1996–97 (along side Michael Jordan), which led to his fourth NBA title.
Robert Parish’s appearance will be sponsored by the NBA to promote the preseason game between the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, October 10 at MTS Centre.
