Serena Ryder continues to break new ground on all musical fronts with her 2012 release, Harmony achieving Gold-selling status in just a few short months and then sky-rocketing to her first platinum album certification shortly after. The trailblazing, infectious lead single, “Stompa” is currently triple platinum and the equally anthemic follow-up track, “What I Wouldn’t Do” raced to the top of the radio airwaves top 10 lists across all formats and double platinum. Testament to the depth of Harmony, the album’s third single, “Fall” is currently a mainstay at radio.
Ryder is quickly becoming a radio sensation south of the border too, with massive radio airplay and topping the U.S. Triple A charts.
On the 2013 music awards front, Ryder has had a banner year with two knock-out live performances at The Juno Awards in Regina (solo ”Stompa” & a killer Billy Talent collaboration) and took home her fourth Juno for Adult Alternative Album of The Year. At The 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards, Serena earned herself three nominations and added more hardware to her trophy collection, winning Rock / Alternative Video of The Year and then went on to perform a stellar live medley of her two hits, “What I Wouldn’t Do” & “Stompa”.
