This concert is really “all about that trumpet”.
Pacho Flores was awarded first prize in the “Maurice André” International Contest, the most renowned trumpet competition in the world.
Trained in the marvellous El Sistema program in Venezuela, as was our guest conductor José Luis Gomez, Pacho offers an unforgettable experience to listeners with his stunning technique and communicative skill.
Our program covers music inspired by the fragrant and exciting sounds of Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, and Spain.
Approximately 1 hr 50 mins, including 20-minute intermission.
A pre-concert chat will begin on the Piano Nobile approximately 45 minutes before the concert starts.
