The 4-piece doom metal-hardcore band from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, draws influence from classics like Black Sabbath combined with the sheer, combative energy of hardcore punk.

DJ Kilusan
Maribeth Tabanera aka Kilusan is a Filipinx Tagalog Visayan queer femme interdisciplinary artist and educator born & based on Treaty One Territory (Winnipeg). Kilusan has spent their lifetime training in a variety of dance styles including b-girling, hip hop, house, vogue, waacking, dancehall and afrobeat. Their music collection is filled with their favourite funk, soul, jazz, rock, disco, hip hop, house, latin, dancehall, afro-beats, and filipino classics.
A graduate from Mama Cutsworth’s DJ Academy for All Women and Non-Binary Folks, they have been playing their favourite tracks at events all over Winnipeg since 2017. Kilusan has DJed with Queer People of Colour Winnipeg, Synonym Art Consultation, DJ Bles-sed in Montreal, Bastid’s BBQ, and most recently, virtually with Kay Gee and Vin Rock of Naughty By Nature at the Big Picture Learning Big Summer Fest.
Kilusan strives to create an inclusive and inviting atmosphere that inspires all party-goers to live life with light and love.

The Rules
The Rules are a three piece punk rock band from Winnipeg, Canada. Established in 2017, the band includes Kim (vocals/guitar), Karla (bass), and Johanna (drums). The Rules recorded their five song EP in July 2018 at Private Ear Recording in Winnipeg with producer John Paul Peters. The first single off the EP, “Ghost Girls”, was released October 30th, 2018 on Bandcamp.com. The band recently opened for California hardcore punk band Death By Stereo, as part of the two day punk rock SOS Fest at The Park Theatre.
