Yes! Just when we thought we’d never see another snow picture on AccessWinnipeg again until September… we were wrong… A weather storm watch is heading for Manitoba, at the moment the Environment Canada is expecting only rain to the city of Winnipeg but noted that if the weather system shifts slightly we could be in for snow :(
The targeted cities at the moment right now are Portage la Prairie, Gimli, and Bissett with a reported 10 cm to 20 cm of snow downfall. The surrounding areas such as Winnipeg, Manitou through Dugald, Pinawa, and the southeast corner of the province near Sprague would experience rain or freezing rain.
