day 46: it’s all fun and games ’til the cops show up…or is it? Originally uploaded by Agent Magenta

Almost as if it was a scene from “cops” on Monday night a Winnipeg police officer was deliberately hit by a stolen truck. The incident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on Sinclair Street near College Avenue. The police are still looking for the suspect(s).

“It really doesn’t get much more serious than this,” Said Police Sgt. Kelly Dennison who was at the scene last night. “We’re going to do everything we can to bring this suspect (or suspects) into custody.” If anybody has any tips or information about the suspect(s) please contact the Winnipeg Police Street Crime tip line at 986-8435 or by email.
