TOP 5 PLACES NOT TO GO ON A FIRST DATE
I am not in any way or form a masterful date picker. I myself am guilty of a few of the things i have listed on this Top Tuesday. But for laugh, here is the top 5 places you should NEVER go to on a first date. Hit Read More to view this weeks Top Tuesdays.
5. DINER AND A MOVIE
Diner and a movie is more of a third, forth, even tenth date thing. But if its the first date – you want to get to know your date and a movie doesn’t leave room for much conversation. Plus if its a comedy – you definitely don’t want the other to know how horrific your laugh is. CONFESSION: I am guilty of this :)
4. ANYWHERE WITH A “SPECIAL”
Toony Tuesdays, Wacky Wing Wednesdays all these are BIG no-no’s. If you want to impress your date, then expect to pay FULL price for your wings.
3. BUFFET
A buffet does not classify as a sit down diner. There is no bonus points for showing your date how many plates you can go through at the ROYAL FORKS and still have your 3 scoops of ice cream!
2. A DOUBLE DATE
First dates, though they can be scary, should be time to get to know the other person one on one. A double date with your friend CAN relive some tension and nervousness – but eventually neglects the point of a first date.
1. INCOMPATIBLE RESTAURANT
This is the biggest mistake made by most men (and maybe women) Before you go out, find out if your date has an allergies, eating conditions, etc etc. There is nothing WORSE then going to TONY ROMAS for a rack of SLOBBY RIBS but finding out your date is a vegitarian. Do you research – and all should be well! REMINDER: Not all Asians like sushi!!!
