This mornings online version of my favorite newspaper has seemed to miss out on a fairly important story. The Winnipeg Sun claims that a strike at the WFP is “almost a certainty”. Well, if this is the case, I will have to change my morning routine. If only the Winnipeg Sun had an RSS feed.
The current contract expired at midnight September 30th, which was early this morning. There is no anticipated date for the strike to begin and negotiations are underway.
