The water taxi service that runs through The Forks has been nonoperational this summer due to swollen rivers. But on Saturday, they finally got back on the river.

With warm weather on the horizon, the city’s water taxi service is a great way to enjoy the summer.

There are now a total of 6 water buses in the river servicing 11 city docks every 15-minutes. The River Spirit navigates through the centre of Winnipeg along the historic Red and Assiniboine Rivers.

One way fare from any dock any other dock is $3.00. Day pases are available for $15.00 per person. This allows passengers using the day pass to travel by water bus as many times as they like during that day.
