Hasbro will be releasing the Canada Edition of the worlds most famous Board Game this year. The Canada Edition of Monopoly will have Canadian Cities in replacement of street names.
Fans were asked to vote from January – February 2010 to determine which cities would occupy various spots on the board. 22 cities made the new board and will be featured in order of highest to lowest rented properties based on number of votes. The results will be revealed by Mr. Monopoly himself on June 22, 2010 via live satellite. We’ll provide the video link later this week.
Let’s hope Winnipeg got a great spot on the board!!
