Last September and May earlier this year, Winnipegers all over participated in the first ever Giveaway Weekend. They were such a success that the City wants to do it again on September 11 and 12, 2010.
How It Works:
On September 11th and 12th, Winnipegers are encouraged to put their unwanted stuff on the curb for others to pick up.
The goal is to encourage recycling and prevent useful junk from going into the trash. This is the third edition of the ‘Giveaway Weekend’ and hopefully more to come.
