Yes, the day has finally come! Various New York Fries locations in Winnipeg are slowly becoming a Poutinerie! The St. Vital and Polo Park locations have already been converted. More locations to follow.
What is a Poutinerie?
It is a specially branded New York Fries branch that specializes in different kinds of Poutines! All other New York Fries menu items will continue to be available.
The two new poutine flavours are:
– Butter Chicken Poutine – a mild Indian inspired chicken in a creamy tomato curry sauce, served w/ cheese curds over fries
– Braised Beef Poutine – slow cooked angus beef in a red wine reduction w/ carrots, mushrooms & onions, cheese curds over fries
I can’t wait to try them both. There goes my Christmas diet.
