The Winnipeg Airport Authority is looking for community volunteers to test and trial the functions of the new airport terminal building. They are seeking approximately 1,300 volunteers to test the groundside, curbside, check-in counter areas, security screening and terminal wayfinding.

Volunteers will be given ‘scripts’ to act as pretend travellers moving around the airport. Trial days will take 4-6 hours and will take place between August and October.

Volunteers may apply as individuals or in groups of up to six people. Group sign-up is intended for families or other groups who typically travel together. Volunteers under the age of 18 must obtain parental or legal guardian consent. All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the day of the trial.

The trail run is crucial to ensuring the new Airport Terminal meets all travellers needs.
