Cineplex is set to spend $6.5 million and convert the Cinema City located at McGillivray and Kenaston into a traditional first-run theatre with 3 VIP Auditoriums.
VIP Auditoriums Include:
– 19+ Admission
– Oversized Premium Stadium Seats
– Licensed Lounge
– Reserved Seating
– In-Seat Food and Beverage Service
– Specialty Foods
This will be the Cadillac of all movie theatres. You’ll be able to order snacks from your seat and place them on lounge-like tables while you enjoy your movie. There will be 3 VIP cinemas and 8 traditional theatres in the new building.
There are only 3 other VIP theatres in Canada which are located in Toronto, Oakville, and London, Ontario. Construction is set to begin in 2012. [CBC NEWS]
