The Assiniboine Park Zoo’s resident Red Pandas – Rufus and Rouge – are the proud parents of a female cub born June 30, 2012. The Zoo staff have selected 4 names for her and would like the public to vote for their favourite name. The names are:
* Zhin – meaning “treasure”
* Kiah – meaning “from the beautiful place”
* Anika – meaning “graceful or beautiful”
* Mya – meaning “emerald”
