16 year old Winnipegger, Cameron Cordoviz, has won the 4th Roland V-Drums Junior Championship. His winning audition video is above. The Roland V-Drums Contest invites drummers from across Canada to show off their drumming prowess on a Roland V-Drums kit, with the chance for the junior winner to receive not only a Roland TD-15K V-Drums kit, but the opportunity to play onstage at Montreal Drum Fest.
Auditions were held over a one week period in cities across Canada, with over 100 drummers auditioning for the Junior Division alone. Cameron Cordviz, who auditioned at Long & McQuade – Stafford Street location, was chosen the winner based on the originality, creativity and technical skill of his performance. [ROLAND]
