The closure on the Arlington Overpass over the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks has been extended until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, to complete repairs to the bridge deck.
The closure this summer is required for repair work being performed on the bridge including the deck overlay, structural steel repairs and maintenance.
The east sidewalk continues to be open during this period for pedestrian traffic.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternative routes in the area such as the McPhillips Street Underpass and the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge.
