Hello Winnipeg, we are Mr. and Mrs. Restaurant. We’re passionate about food, but not about cooking. After growing tired of everyday chain restaurants, we began our search for the best hidden eateries the city has to offer. Ever wonder if that trendy new place is worth the money; or if that greasy burger joint lives up to all the hype? Just ask Mr. and Mrs. Restaurant!
Pho 675

Located beside Garden City Collegiate, this space has housed numerous eateries throughout the years and we think Pho 675 is the perfect restaurant for this spot.
Their space is bright and open, with booths lining the perimeter and a few tables in the middle. This set up is perfect for the daytime lunch rushes they’re likely getting during the school year. They also offer weekday lunch specials to serve this purpose, including a variety of rice and vermicelli dishes.
The menu is short but offers a lot of options. It is made up of mostly single-serve choices, like rice dishes and vermicelli bowls, or other combination plates. There are a few larger, shareable dishes near the end of the menu but the single-serve plates and soups are definitely the focus. They also offer bubble tea.
We ordered the Well-Done Beef Pho and a Grilled Beef and Pork Chop Rice Dish. Both of our meals were tasty, fresh and satisfying. The portion sizes were perfect for lunch time. If you’re going for dinner or have a big appetite, we’d recommend the x-large bowl for the Pho.
Overall, we enjoyed our meals at Pho 675 and will definitely revisit.
