The wait is almost over! Winnipeg’s first H&M store will open at Polo Park Shopping Centre on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at noon.
H&M first entered Canada in 2004. There are now 67 stores across Canada.
The 25,000 square foot fashion retail store will be Winnipeg’s first H&M location. Available at the Polo Park location will also be the H&M Garment Collecting program. The program allows Winnipeggers to bring in any unwanted garments (doesn’t have to be from H&M) in any condition in exchange for a discount on their next purchase.
Collected garments are sorted and then reused, recycled or re-worn. Last year H&M collected over 200,000lbs of unwanted garments in Canada alone.
