YouTube has been a God-given gift to parents with little children who refuse to stay still in one spot.
The worlds most popular video streaming service is making things even better by launching a new app that will run only kid-friendly content.
The YouTube Kids App will only play age-appropriate videos to protect your children from offensive content. The app will launch on February 23, initially only for Android.
The App interface will be very basic and opens up into eight large tiles. It is designed for kids with tiny fingers to easily navigate. Videos will be available in four main categories: Shows, Music, Learning and Explore.
Video comments will also be removed from the interface. Parents can also set a viewing timer: once that runs out the password needs to be reentered before more video can be watched.
