Remember that Simpsons episode where Homer orders Blowfish Sushi that has to be made just right or it becomes poisonous?

Turns out… its actually true.

The fish is called fugu (pufferfish). In order to serve it in Japan, a chef needs to have a special license. That’s because fugu is poisonous, toxic and lethal. However, when prepared properly, it’s 100% safe and very delicious.
