Canada will take on USA for the Gold Medal at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship tonight. The game will take place on home soil at the Bell Centre in Montreal. It’ll air at 6:30pm Winnipeg time on TSN.
Canada upset Sweden, who were undefeated (5-0) in the tournament, to advance to their second gold medal game in three years.
This will be the fourth time Canada and USA will battle for Gold. Canada won in 1997. USA won in both 2004 and 2010.
The last time Canada won Gold was in 2015 when they defeated Russia at Air Canada Centre.
Russia will play Sweden for Bronze.
