U.S. hardware chain, Lowes, will open in Winnipeg in 2018.
The new 95,000 square foot store will be located at 1799 Kenaston Boulevard (at the intersection of McGillivary)
There is already a Home Depot and RONA within 2 kilometers of the future store, so competition will be fierce. Lowes is expected to create 125 permanent jobs and 30 to 35 additional seasonal positions.
