It’s going to be one of the biggest events during the August Long Weekend. The Icelandic Festival will run in Gimli, Manitoba from August 3 to 6, 2018.
The Icelandic Festival was recently named by FlightNetwork as one of the 40 Best Arts and Cultural Festivals in North America.
The 129th festival theme is “Gather as Family”. They’re encouraging festival-goers to come in bunches to throw one of Manitoba’s biggest celebrations.
Gimli, MB is located just an hour north of Winnipeg and is a very popular summer destination.
