Gowns for Grads is look for more plus size dresses.
The Gowns for Grads program was created to ensure every graduate has a dress to wear when they celebrate this huge accomplishment. Gowns for Grads collects donations of formal gowns, shoes, evening bags, and jewelry and these items are re-distributed to Manitoba graduates who are not be able to afford them.
The Gowns for Grads program began at St John’s High School in 2009. From 2011 through 2017, the Laura Milner White Committee generously supported the program. Currently, Gowns for Grads remains 100% volunteer run and donation based, and is managed by the Gowns for Grads Winnipeg Committee. To date, they have given out over 3,000 grad dresses to deserving graduates.
