Michelle Obama’s “Becoming” was the most popular book at the Winnipeg Public Library in 2019. The former US first lady’s memoir was checked out over 3,500 times in 2019. There’s currently 500 people on the waitlist for the audio version of the book.
In second place was “Educated” by Tara Westover. It was checked out 2,586 times in 2019.
The Winnipeg Public Library has a collection of around 1.3 million physical items. A Winnipeg Public Library card allows you to borrow a wide range of materials, both in person and digitally. The card is FREE but you’ll have to visit any branch to sign up.
