The Canadian government is expected to drop mandatory COVID-19 vaccine requirements by September 30, 2022.
This will also end random COVID-19 testing at airports which should improve traffic at already busy airports. The ArriveCan app will also be discontinued. Travellers will no longer be required to fill in information in the app before entering Canada.
The mask requirement for travellers on planes and trains is expected to remain in place.
