Get ready for the ultimate hockey celebration! The Winnipeg Jets’ Fan Fest is back and bigger than ever, scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the hockey for all centre. It’s the perfect way to kickstart the 2023-24 season and get up close and personal with your favorite players.
Fan Fest has something for everyone, both on and off the ice. You’ll be able to watch on-ice training camp sessions where you can see the players in action with player interviews on the main stage.
Festivities include:
- Q & A sessions with Jets and Moose players, coaches and management, special guests and alumni
- alumni autographs
- cultural performances celebrating the Jets’ Filipino and South Asian Heritage and WASAC games
- Royal Canadian Armed Forces activations including performances by the rock band of the Royal Canadian Air Force; inflatables
- interactive games and displays
- a ball hockey activation
- the opportunity to shoot on Mick E. Moose in the Ice Lab (ages 10 and under)
- the video gaming lounge where fans can play NHL 24, and more
Jet Dogs will be available for purchase along with food and beverages from the Press Box Restaurant and from fan-favourite food trucks outside.
The party runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and parking is free in the nearby Assiniboia Downs lot. You’ll need a free mobile ticket to get in, available starting August 31st at 10 a.m. on https://www.nhl.com/jets/fans/fan-fest (max eight tickets per order).
Seating for on-ice sessions is limited, so arrive early for first-come, first-served spots. There are two sessions at 9 a.m. and noon, so if you miss the first one, you can line up for the second. And if you’re looking for some cool gear, Jets Gear will be there with discounts on Jets and Moose merchandise, including game-used stuff.
